Set up your phone number and connect to your systems

Step 1

Provision your Twilio phone number

Purchase or select a Twilio number that supports voice, then link it to Talknology.

Open Twilio Console
  1. Click the Twilio console button and sign in.
  2. Purchase a phone number that supports voice calls (or use an existing one).
  3. Enable voice capabilities and note the full number you were assigned.

We’ll store this number so inbound calls route through our agent automatically.

Step 2

Connect our agent to Twilio

Point Twilio’s Voice webhook to our secure WebSocket so calls instantly hand off to your agent.

  1. In Twilio, go to Phone Numbers → Manage → Active numbers and select your number.
  2. Scroll to the Voice & Fax section and set “A Call Comes In” to Webhook.
  3. Choose POST and paste the Talknology WebSocket URL above.
  4. Save the configuration. Every inbound call will now connect to your Talknology agent.
